| Description |
Tick Infestation has reached critical levels in some regions of the UK and is not only causing depletion of wildlife but also severe commercial problems for livestock farmers. Wet conditions and the lack of severe winters are thought to be a causative factor. Due to the nature of infestation it is not possible to isolate one species of host to break the tick's life cycle. Therefore, it is essential to provide treatment to an area rather than a chosen group ofanimals. |
